Babies have naturally delicate skin that's more susceptible to irritation, dryness, and allergic reactions than adult skin. Their skin barrier is still developing, making it more vulnerable to environmental factors and harsh ingredients.

Several factors can trigger sensitive skin reactions in babies. Fragrances and perfumes, even those labeled as "baby-safe," can cause irritation in some infants. Harsh chemicals, preservatives, and alcohol-based products can strip away natural oils.

When choosing wipes for sensitive skin, look for products that are hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and alcohol-free. These wipes are specifically formulated to minimize the risk of allergic reactions and irritation.

Establishing a gentle daily care routine is crucial for managing sensitive skin. Use lukewarm water for bathing, as hot water can dry out the skin. Pat your baby's skin dry instead of rubbing.

If you notice persistent redness, rashes, or signs of infection, consult your pediatrician promptly. Early intervention can prevent more serious skin conditions from developing.
